An old way of making.
A reason to keep going.

In Harrisburg, Arkansas, Parker Homestead keeps a familiar craft in motion. Natural broomcorn is wound on a machine dating to 1878, then stitched by hand. The materials are humble; the attention is anything but.

That process leaves room for the maker. Each broom carries its own color and variation, with a hardwood handle and a broad sweep of natural fibers. It is a small piece of working history, ready for another ordinary day.

What do we choose
to pass down?

For Jake and Janelle, Millstream Home began with a question about family: what could they pass on from the world they grew up in? Their Amish heritage led them down Lancaster’s back roads, looking for craftspeople still working in traditional ways.

Today, that work connects basket weavers, broom makers, potters, and other artisans. Familiar household objects become a way to carry a tradition forward. The story begins in someone’s workshop and continues in your home.

Bradley Mountain

It started in a garage.
It was made to go places.

In 2012, Tyler Axtell began making things one at a time in his Ocean Beach, California garage. Self-taught, he designed the gear he wanted to use himself. Bradley Mountain grew from that personal beginning into a workshop in Columbia, Tennessee.

Natural materials and practical design remain at the center of the work. For this maker, adventure can be a long trip or a fresh look at the day ahead. Canvas and leather are simply good companions for both.
