Elena and Dmitriy — a designer and a woodworker — founded SABO concept to make toys that balance minimalism with thoughtful craft. This sailboat has a movable sail element held by magnets, smooth lines, and a shape simple enough that a three-year-old can actually sail it across a table without engineering a capsizing incident. The wood is natural beech and linden, finished with oil-wax and tinted with safe water-based paint that lets the grain show through. Sixty grams. Fits in a hand. Built to be felt, not just looked at. Floats in a bathtub until someone decides it's actually a submarine. Then it sinks on purpose, gets rescued, promoted to cruise ship, demoted back to sailboat, and spends the rest of the week ferrying a small plastic frog between two washcloths that have been designated as separate nations with complex trade agreements.
