A changing pad with a contoured, soft and squishy surface designed to support proper positioning. Features a wipe-clean, water-resistant top, non-slip 'Grippy Feet' bottom for stability, and a removable safety harness. Made of 100% non-toxic materials in an extra large design. Working with pediatric physical therapists and drawing on his background in medical device development, he prototyped early designs using window insulation foam to test angles quickly. Therapists guided him toward a design with a forward tilt, large pommel, and wide leg openings to encourage proper posture while supporting healthy hip positioning. Small batches are made in Canada. After appearing on CBC's Dragons' Den, the Upseat landed in over 500 Canadian Tire stores. The company donates 1% of revenue to support families in need.

Strap a kid in and they're suddenly sitting upright like someone explained the long-term benefits of core engagement in terms they found persuasive. Give it ten minutes and the harness will be holding a stuffed animal while the actual child investigates whether the Grippy Feet taste different than regular feet. By afternoon the pad's a landing zone for crackers, a launch pad for toys, and possibly a small municipal district depending on how the governing vote goes.
