PlanToys was founded in 1981 by seven university graduates who wanted to design playthings that spark imagination while respecting the planet. The company works with child development specialists to determine age-appropriate design, then builds in Thailand using chemical-free rubberwood, formaldehyde-free glue, organic pigments, and water-based dyes. The kind of furniture that gets repositioned seventeen times before someone's satisfied, then moved again the next morning because the bathtub faced the wrong wall and clearly that matters.
