Nine hand-painted linden wood ornaments from SABO concept in Poltava, Ukraine: a ballerina, a nutcracker, two soldiers, a mouse, a Christmas tree, a grasshopper, a drum, and a tower. Elena designs them, Dmitriy works the wood, and together they make minimalist toys meant to be felt, not just looked at. Each figure is painted with water-based acrylics and comes with an eyelet and hook. The tower has engraved windows. The grasshopper has a cotton thread tail. The drum and the mouse's crown are trimmed with paper. Selective sparkle on the tower top, the ballerina's hair and dress hem, the grasshopper base, and the Christmas tree trunk. They arrive in a gilt-edged gift box, ready to hang or be moved from branch to branch until the tree looks exactly right.
