Grapat Bowls & Marbles

Six wooden bowls, thirty-six little marbles, and a pair of tongs.

Children can sort by color, count, transfer marbles from bowl to bowl, make patterns, set up tiny markets or kitchens, or invent an entirely different use by lunchtime. The tongs add just enough challenge to make simple sorting feel surprisingly absorbing.

It’s a beautiful little exercise in concentration and coordination without ever feeling like an exercise.

Each piece is made from natural wood and hand-finished with translucent, water-based dyes, leaving the grain visible underneath. Like all good Grapat pieces, they feel just as at home mixed into a larger world of blocks and figures as they do being played with on their own.
