A wooden board, nine patterned rollers, and sculpting tools designed for hands that press dough flat, carve shapes, and invent textures. Children roll, stamp, cut, and build — the board stays put, the rollers imprint stripes or dots or grids, and the tools handle detail work when a dragon needs scales or a pie needs lattice. Q Toys designed this kit in Melbourne with a team that includes artists, teachers, and industrial designers who share a play-first learning philosophy. The timber comes from old rubber and acacia plantation trees, finished with non-toxic coconut oil, and eighty percent of the work is done by hand by skilled craftsmen and craftswomen — including disabled children the company trains in Vietnam's Mekong Delta. The board provides a flat rolling surface. The tools fit small hands. The whole kit holds up to daily reassignment: bakery one week, fossil lab the next.
