A wooden Jeep toy made by fagus in Rhede, Germany — not toy-sized German engineering, but close. Steers. Comes with two figures. Eleven inches long. Made in a workshop run by Caritasverband für das Dekanat Bocholt where around 135 people with disabilities receive vocational education and employment making these toys. Fagus has been at it since 1982: wood from sustainable German forestry, manual craftsmanship, a repair and spare-parts service so the thing outlives the childhood it was bought for. Built to last by people who care that it does.

The two figures are permanent passengers with no backstory and no apparent destination. You'll assign them names. They will not respond. At least not audibly.
