Wheels Dumper | Steerable Wooden Toy Dump Truck with Tippable Bed

A steerable wooden dump truck with a tippable bed and two peg figures, made by fagus in Rhede, Westphalia, Germany. Since 1982, fagus has been producing wooden toys at the Büngern-Technik workshop, where around 135 people with disabilities receive vocational education and employment at appropriate wages. Every vehicle is built from beech wood (fagus is Latin for beech) using interlocked, doweled, and glued joinery — no nails, screws, or staples. The wood comes from sustainable German forestry, and the brand offers a repair and spare-parts service because making toys that last is how fagus shows appreciation for children and the environment.

Dump bed tips. Wheels steer. Somebody will load it with crackers, dump the crackers into their mouth, then back it up beeping loudly with their mouth full of crackers. An hour later the truck's been reassigned to international shipping. The peg figures have witnessed all of it without complaint.
