Lorena Canals shaped this soft cotton rug around the geometry of a turtle shell, using a raised hexagonal pattern and gentle green tones that feel playful without becoming loud. It works beautifully beside a bed, in a nursery, or tucked into a little reading and play corner — part rug, part creature, and very likely a future island, boat, hideout or home for a collection of animals.

We especially love that something this sweet is made for real childhood. It’s handcrafted from natural cotton fibers, backed with Lorena Canals’ RugCycled material made from textile leftovers, and the whole thing can go straight into the washing machine when life happens.
