Lorena Canals takes the familiar ABC rug and turns it into something children can actually play with. Colorful tufted letters circle a soft natural-and-ivory cotton base, while the vowels become their own little canvas cushions that can be picked up, moved around, matched, and inevitably carried somewhere they weren’t intended to go.

It’s a sweet way to bring letters into everyday play without making a room feel like a classroom. Soft enough for sitting, building and reading, beautiful enough to leave out, and completely machine washable when all that learning gets a little messy.
