A tiny flower press made for taking the long way home. We chose this one because it turns an ordinary walk into a reason to look closer—at wildflowers, ferns, clover, and all the little things children usually notice before we do. It’s thoughtfully made, linen-covered, small enough for a jacket pocket, and assembled by hand in June & December’s Michigan studio. The acid-free pressing cards are reusable too, so this is something a child can carry, use, and fill with memories for years.

Of course, once they know they can press things, everything becomes a candidate. A perfect violet? Absolutely. A beautiful maple leaf? Of course. A slightly crumpled weed from beside the mailbox? Apparently priceless.
