Mark Three Mechanical Pencil | Machined Aluminum | 0.7mm Lead
Notify me when it’s back
Studio Neat's Mark Three is a machined aluminum mechanical pencil with a Cerakote ceramic-polymer coating in a matte finish. The body is seamless, capped with polished stainless steel, and houses a Schmidt DSM 2005 lead advancing mechanism—0.7 mm standard, swappable to 0.5 mm if you prefer. Internal mechanism pieces are machined aluminum. A standard-size eraser hides under the end cap. Tom Gerhardt and Dan Provost founded Studio Neat in 2010 after their first product, the Glif, became one of Kickstarter's earliest breakout successes, exceeding its goal by over 10×. They've been profitable since day one, run the company out of Austin, and have no interest in venture funding or acquisition—just making simple, useful products in a sustainable way. The Mark Three measures 130 mm long, 9.5 mm in diameter, and weighs 22 grams. Available in multiple color finishes.
Set it on your desk and you'll never want it more than 6" from your hand. Look, I don't make the rules.
