FILANA’s block crayons are made for broad strokes, layered color, soft backgrounds, and the kind of drawing that uses the whole page. Their shape feels substantial in little hands, while the rich, transparent pigments can be layered and mixed into an almost endless range of colors.

They’re hand-poured in small batches in Colorado using organic beeswax and plant-based natural waxes — with no paraffin or petroleum wax. We love them because they feel like a real artist material made approachable for children: simple, beautiful, and genuinely satisfying to use.
