Some things are worth saving. A wildflower from a favorite trail, the first bloom from Grandma’s garden, a fern found on a summer walk. We chose this little field press because it turns noticing those things into a ritual—and eventually into a record of childhood itself. It’s light enough to travel, beautifully linen-covered, and made with proper acid-free pressing boards so the specimens inside are treated like the treasures they are.

It’s also assembled by hand in June & December’s Michigan studio and made in the USA, which matters to us. Slip it into a backpack and suddenly every walk becomes a botanical expedition. Fair warning: you may soon be asked to stop the car because someone has spotted a very important flower.
