Eyewear Stand | Cast Brass or Stainless Steel | Craighill
Notify me when it’s back
Hunter Craighill started his Brooklyn design studio in 2015 with a philosophy that objects should feel as good as they look. The company takes a detail-obsessed, super-iterative approach to making everyday things that pull you out of your head and back into the physical world — the weight of metal in your hand, the way a surface catches light, the quiet satisfaction of setting something down exactly where it belongs. This eyewear stand is a minimal cast-metal pedestal with a reclined face-like form that holds your glasses when you're not wearing them. It's available in cast brass or stainless steel. The brass develops a natural patina over time.
Fourteen and a half ounces means this will stay exactly where you put it instead of skittering across the nightstand when you set your glasses down too fast at 2 a.m. Bronze patina timeline depends entirely on whether you touch it daily or just look at it from across the room while wondering if you should dust more often.
