Jeremy spent five years designing these mittens in extreme environments, obsessing over three things: keeping hands dry, trapping heat, and generating heat. The full-grain water buffalo leather is treated for water resistance and backed with a Hipora® moisture barrier. Inside, 100-gram Thinsulate® and 5 mm foam create air pockets that hold warmth the same way a polar bear's coat does. The mitten construction — fingers together instead of separated — lets your hands generate and share more heat naturally. Reinforced palms and thumbs mean exceptional durability. The leather softens over time, molds to your hands, and develops a rich patina.
