Craft & Forge Leather Crossbody Bag | Full-Grain Leather | Handcrafted in Mexico & Texas

A collaboration between Mission Mercantile and Colonial Williamsburg, this crossbody bag draws from 18th-century items in the foundation's archives. The design is clean-lined with antique closures and stamping, embossed with Benjamin Franklin's "Do not squander time; for that's the stuff life is made of." Handcrafted from full-grain leather in Leon, Mexico and Texas by a company that owns its entire supply chain. Mission Mercantile was founded by Chuck Bowen, who grew up in his family's hardware store in Claxton, Georgia — a business with over 150 years of merchant history on both sides of his family. His father ran Bowen-Rogers Hardware for nearly 50 years, and Chuck built Mission Mercantile on the same uncompromising standards: quality materials, honest work, care for the people involved. The company operates two workshops and handcrafts leather goods for their own brand and over thirty others, working to restore what Chuck felt was lost from the present world of leather goods and retail.
Franklin also said "An investment in knowledge pays the best interest," but I'm pretty sure no one has never earned a dividend on the Twilight series.
