Bolt Action Pencil | 0.5mm/0.7mm/0.9mm | Titanium, Brass, Copper, or Zirconium

BIGiDESIGN has been making EDC gear in Chattanooga since 2009, and they've spent that time perfecting the art of overengineering the everyday. This is a CNC-machined mechanical pencil with a retractable bolt action mechanism — you rack the bolt to extend the lead, like you're preparing to sketch a grocery list with military precision. Comes with three Schmidt mechanical pencil systems so you can swap between 0.5mm, 0.7mm, and 0.9mm leads depending on your mood or handwriting neurosis. Includes an optional eraser end with ten spare refills, a deep carry pocket clip, and a titanium damascus bolt because why settle for ordinary metal when you can have metal with stripes. Built from solid Grade 5 titanium (stonewashed, DLC black, or raw), brass, copper, or zirconium — materials chosen for durability and the kind of patina that makes people ask where you got that thing.

Most people use a clicky pen. You'll use a bolt action pencil. Will this improve your handwriting? No. Will it make grocery lists feel like tactical operations? Absolutely. At some point you stop justifying why a pencil needs a machined bolt and just accept that some things are built this way because they can be.
