Banwood started when Frida Jonsby and Juan Manuel Torralvo Castro — she with an eye for design, he with a family history in manufacturing — met in Germany and realized bikes could be something more. They built a company around Scandinavian-influenced cycling products for kids, made from materials that last: steel frames, oak wood seats with padded vegan leather, PU tires, adjustable handlebars. This tricycle sits at seat height 30 cm, handlebar adjustable from 45 to 50.5 cm, built for riders ages three to six and up to 25 kg. Comes with a wicker basket and a safety bell. No brake system — feet do the stopping.

Basket capacity maxes out only the most critical of items: A stick, two leaves, a half-eaten bag of trail mix, and "secret treasure" (don't ask).
