For those who love white oak in its purest form, completely unfinished and untouched. Raw wood will absorb moisture, oils, and foods more readily and can stain, spot, or develop water marks with use. It requires a little more thoughtfulness—wipe spills promptly, never soak it, and allow it to dry completely after cleaning. With proper care, a raw board can age beautifully, developing a natural patina that becomes entirely its own.
