What does the percentage mean?

It shows how much of your recipe’s total water you have poured. When the display reaches 100%, you have reached the water amount calculated from your coffee dose and chosen ratio.

Can I choose a different brew ratio?

Yes. Hario lists ratio settings from 1:1 through 1:30, covering concentrated through lighter recipes.

Does it work as a normal timer scale?

Yes. Polaris includes a timer mode alongside its ratio-guided brewing mode.

What can it weigh?

The scale measures from 0.1 g up to 2000 g, which covers common pour-over, French press, and batch-brew setups.
