banwood-balance-bike-icon-vintage-sage-steel-frame-ages-3-5
Banwood Balance Bike Icon Vintage | Sage | Steel Frame | Ages 3-5

Banwood is a family-owned brand founded by Juan Manuel Torralvo Castro and Frida Jonsby, who met in Germany and combined her Scandinavian-influenced design eye with his family's manufacturing background. They build balance bikes that blend contemporary lines with mid-century charm, paying attention to every step from design through delivery. This one has a steel frame, fork, handlebar, and seat post shaped by Streamline Moderne principles — curved structures, horizontal lines, the kind of silhouette that looks like it's moving even when it's parked. Leatherette grips and saddle, alloy hubs and spokes, Michelin rubber tires. Handlebar adjusts from 50 to 53 cm, saddle from 38 to 45 cm. Weighs 4.5 kg. CE certified. No brake system. Assembly required.

Set this on the driveway and someone will spend twenty minutes adjusting the seat height with the seriousness of a pit crew. Then they'll ring the bell four times to confirm it works. Then they'll push off, wobble, recover, and take a victory lap that lasts nine seconds before stopping to investigate a dandelion. You'll watch from the porch thinking about how much engineering went into a vehicle whose top speed is limited entirely by leg length and attention span.

Steel frame, fork, handlebar, and seat post

Streamline Moderne inspired design with curved structures and horizontal lines

Leatherette grips and saddle

Alloy hubs, spokes, and rim with Michelin tires

Handlebar height 50-53 cm, saddle height 38-45 cm

Weight 4.5 kg

Includes PVC and alloy bell

Suggested age 3-5 years

CE certified

No brake system

Adult assembly required

Handles corners so smoothly you'll start hearing jazz in your head

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0638/4956/2211/files/BW-ICON-SAGE-01_eaa94bf5-7962-456c-9d7c-2c8ce2c156f3.jpg?v=1791299542
