Will Standard Issue fit my child?
Have an adult check that the eyepieces line up comfortably with both eyes and the child can hold and focus the binoculars. NOCS currently lists 58–74 mm eye spacing in its 8×25 specification table, while another section lists 56–74 mm. If your child is near the minimum, confirm the exact model’s fit before ordering. We don’t assign a universal minimum age.
Always supervise children with optics and straps. Never look at the sun through binoculars or monoculars.

Are these children’s toy binoculars?
No. NOCS makes real outdoor optics. Standard Issue is compact, but fit and handling vary by child. An adult should help check eye spacing, comfortable viewing, and focusing before use. See the fit guidance above.
Why get a pair for myself?
So you can look together. Two pairs let you follow the same bird or hillside without passing one pair back and forth. Choose two Standard Issue colors, or select a larger model for your own adventures.
What does 8×25 mean?
8× is the magnification. 25 mm is the diameter of the front lenses. Standard Issue combines that view with a compact body; the Field Issue 8×42 uses larger front lenses in a fuller-size binocular.
Can I build a kit and stay on this page?
Yes. Open any product, choose its available option, and add it to your kit or straight to your bag. You can edit quantities, remove items, and keep exploring here. The kit adds your selected items together at their individual prices, with no automatic bundle discount.
Which accessories work with Standard Issue?
The 25 mm binocular pouch and lens cleaning kit are useful companions. The binocular tripod mount does not fit Standard Issue 8×25. The Inspector is an attachment for compatible monoculars, not binoculars. Each accessory popup includes compatibility guidance.
