So—is this instant coffee?+
It is soluble coffee, but the process is different from conventional heat-spray-dried powder. Mezza starts with brewed coffee, flash-freezes it, and removes the frozen water under vacuum. You rehydrate the finished coffee crystals when you are ready to drink.
Do I need hot water?+
No. The crystals dissolve in hot or room-temperature water, so you can make a warm cup or build an iced drink without a brewer.
What equipment do I need?+
A cup, water, and something to stir with. No grinder, filter, pod machine, kettle, or brewing cleanup is required. A kettle is optional if you prefer your coffee hot.
