No. Every piece works on its own, so start with what you’re missing. If you’re buying just one, start with the grinder: fresh, even grounds improve every brew method you use.
Is shipping free?
Yes, on orders over $120 within the contiguous U.S. (the only area we ship to). The grinder or the kettle clears that on its own, and so does every setup above.
When will it arrive?
Orders are processed in 1–3 business days. Standard shipping takes 5–8 business days; expedited takes 2–4. You’ll see both options and costs at checkout.
What grind setting do I use for the French press?
The coarse end of the Opus 2’s dial. Because the dial is stepless, you can nudge it finer or coarser until the cup tastes right, with no fixed clicks in the way.
Is the Clara made of glass?
No. It’s vacuum-insulated stainless steel with a non-stick, PFOA-free interior, so it won’t shatter if it’s dropped. The mesh filter is dishwasher safe; hand-wash the body.
Which pieces go in the dishwasher?
The Pirch glasses, the Carter Move and the Clara’s mesh filter. Hand-wash the Clara body; the kettle and grinder are wipe-clean electronics.
Does the kettle work at high altitude?
Yes. The EKG Pro has an altitude adjustment setting, plus a schedule mode so your water can be hot before you’re up.
